About

After two decades working in fashion, theatre and retail, my focus is now on interior design. At Fairground Design, I create bespoke beheads, curtains, cushions, and soft furnishings. Each project brings together the ethos and experience of my work with the needs of each client.

My career as a designer began in fashion at East Sydney TAFE, now the National Art School in Darlinghurst, where I first developed an enduring appreciation for silhouette, cloth and colour.

The theatre soon followed, and over the next decade I worked across stage, film and television, including three formative years with Opera Australia. Costume, texture, light and space each play their part in creating a unique experience that lingers long after the curtain fell, and this sense of theatre is imprinted in my work.

My career went on to cover working in costuming and then creating a unique clothing retail business, Coelho.

After many years in this sphere my interest shifted into interiors. Today my home furnishing studio creates:

Bespoke Bedheads

Curtains

Roman Blinds

Upholstered Pelmets

Soft Furnishings

Day Beds

All collaborations set out to produce a unique feel for the client, combining all my skills and experience that translates to a timeless high finish.
